EVER BLIŻEJ WAS
FOUNDATION
At the heart of our mission is the belief that real change begins with empathy and concrete support.
The EVER Bliżej Was Foundation was established to cross barriers, change perspectives and open doors to new opportunities for people with disabilities.
Our aim is to create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to participate fully and actively in society.
Measures
- Psychological and vocational support:
We understand the importance of emotional and vocational support in the process of social and professional integration of people with disabilities. We offer access to qualified psychologists and job coaches to help you find your way in the labour market.
- Translator support:
As part of our support, we also offer the assistance of a sign language interpreter and an interpreter for those who do not speak Polish. The interpreter plays an invaluable role in the daily lives of our residents, accompanying them to medical appointments, dealing with official matters and in other situations where accurate communication is essential.
- Access to specialist care:
We provide free rehabilitation sessions that are tailored to each person’s individual needs. We believe that professional rehabilitation is the key to increasing independence and improving quality of life.
- Workshops and excursions:
We enable mentees to develop practical skills through handicraft workshops. It is not only great fun, but also builds community and a sense of belonging. The picnics and campfire gatherings we organise are an excellent opportunity to integrate and spend time in a friendly atmosphere, which strengthens relationships between participants.
- Educational tours:
In addition, we organise educational trips that allow them to discover culture and history, forming a valuable part of their personal development. These types of initiatives foster lasting bonds, develop collaborative skills and create memories that remain long in the minds of our residents.
- Participation in projects:
The Foundation is actively involved in a variety of projects, taking action to support people with disabilities and their families. As part of these initiatives, we provide psychological support for people affected by the pandemic, support the treatment process for people with mental illnesses and organise art and dance workshops in cooperation with institutions such as PFRON and the Marshal’s Office.
There are currently around 80 people with disabilities under the Foundation’s permanent care.
By adding these elements to our wide range of activities, the Ever Closer to You Foundation becomes a place where each person can find tailored support, regardless of the challenges they face.
